The Story

Newly arrived is a wide, flat-ground wakizashi believed to date from the early Edo period.

It has been fully polished and is in excellent condition, with virtually no flaws. The jigane features a well-defined itame grain with visible yubashiri. The hamon is a slightly notare-style suguha, and the niioikuchi is tightly defined. With its substantial thickness and weighty presence, it has a majestic appearance, and the white scabbard fitted with buffalo horn is exceptionally stylish.

We are offering this at a reasonable price, so please don’t miss this opportunity.
